ABOUT THIS WATERSHED
Some streams drop below the surface to wind their way way to their ultimate destination in the rivers. Other streams begin as springs deep in caves. This milk-glass cairn is a tower of vases, ceilng-light fixtures, and a golfball-size clear-glass sphere marking one’s path through this cave near Columbia, Illinois.
