The curves of this cairn’s blue glass are no match for the twists of the Mississippi River south of Grand Rapids, Minnesota. Still relatively narrow, the river bends back on itself like unraveling yarn or cooked spaghetti dropped on the floor. Theses loops are characteristic of a wild river and permit it to wander across the flood plain.
