WISCONSIN RIVER CONFLUENCE

The Wisconsin River joins the Mississippi River less than two miles west of the Big Blue cairn poised on this overlook in Wyalusing State Park. Immediately after this photograph was taken, a gust of wind toppled and broke the cairn.
